Well, we are still in Mendoza. Great city. We have found a hostel that we love and have made it our home for the last 10 days. Great people and atmosphere. The steak is still supurb. About $4 for a few pounds of filets. Mmmmm. We have been spoiled. 6 out of 10 nights of meat can't be wrong. And the wine. Oh the wine. A bottle for so cheap and still, you guessed it, soooo good. Yesterday we went on the bike winery tour.....lots of fun. Dave busted 6 spokes on the way home and we got police escorted back to the bike rental place...probably was our best bet. They just threw the bike in the back and let us hop in, which I am sure is normal procedure. The day for us was full of great wine and scenery, an all around good time that we will continue tommorrow. We will have pictures and videos for all of you curiosos.
Good news, we have found work! Not at a vineyard like we wanted, but work nonetheless. We found a place where we will be voulenteers for free room and board. 8 hours a day at an organic farm. Hmmmm. It's been awhile since we have worked, but this will be good. It is a vegatarian place that you can't drink at, so I guess it will be a little bit like detox for us. We are getting the most of meat and booze now, cause in a few days it won't be available. Can't wait to see how this all turns out!
